Challenge

Legacy on-premises infrastructure was unable to handle the increasing traffic volume from property listings, virtual tours, and customer inquiries. The company experienced frequent downtime during peak viewing hours, slow loading times for high-resolution property images, and inability to scale during marketing campaigns. Their existing setup was costing 40% more than market standards and lacked disaster recovery capabilities.

Solution

Complete migration to AWS cloud infrastructure with auto-scaling EC2 instances, CloudFront CDN for global content delivery, S3 for property media storage, and RDS for database management. Implemented containerized microservices architecture using Kubernetes for better scalability and implemented comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems.

Challenge

A licensed NBFI operated its core lending system on aging on-premise branch infrastructure. Manual reconciliation, paper-based KYC, and spreadsheet-driven regulatory reporting created compliance risk and slowed disbursement cycle times significantly. The organisation needed a cloud-first rebuild capable of handling digital disbursement workflows and passing a regulatory technology audit.

Solution

Deployed a hybrid Azure architecture with private endpoints for sensitive borrower data. Migrated the core loan management system to Azure App Service with managed PostgreSQL, introduced Azure API Management for third-party KYC and regulatory API integrations, and built an automated reconciliation engine that eliminated 40 person-hours of manual spreadsheet work per month. DevSecOps pipeline established via Azure DevOps with IaC through Terraform.
